One of our family friends came over tonight complaining of her cursor going missing after applying the Windows 8.1 upgrade to her new laptop. After a lot of fussing with it for 20 minutes and some google-fu I found this thread:
Which explains that for whatever reason toggling the trackpad disable button causes the cursor to re-appear and stay visible even when re-disabling it. Quite an irritating bug.
Apparently http://healthcare.gov is more complex than OS X 10.4+Windows Vista+Facebook+Office 2013+The Linux Kernel Combined.

1 iTunes Card
1 Very nice greeting card
Making a note here, great success.
I finally bought a copy of Querious by the wonderful folks over at Araelium Group I’ve been using it more and more in my web development workflow and once I have time I’ll try and sit down and do a proper review. Until then, if you need a decent app for administering/developing on a MySQL5 Server, I can’t speak more highly of this product.
